In this episode, Annick van Rinsum interviews Lowkey, a hip-hop artist and political campaigner who grew up in a political household where politics and music were always intertwined. Lowkey discovered as a teenager that Hip-hop could create a sense of empathy for those facing injustices. He developed a strong lyrical and musical talent of his own, and writing songs became a way for him to deal with some horrific traumas he had to go through. With his music, he defies the unaccountability of the powerful. He was the main artist at the festival celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Week Against Racism in Pakhuis de Zwijger.
